Hynam Poll Merinos aim to produce dual purpose meaty correct framed sheep with soft white elite wool.
Based initially on large SA bloodlines we continued to maintain our adult sheep under 20 micron, cutting 5-6kg with staple length of 80-90 mm in 8 months. With the aid of breeding values (ASBV's), genomic testing and visual selection we continue to improve traits such as growth, fat, eye muscle, clean fleece weight and staple length. |
