Forest Springs Merino Stud is located at Joel Joel, 8 kms west of Landsborough and 28kms east of Stawell , and 50 kms southeast of Marnoo in a 450 - 500 mm rainfall environment.
Our sheep are run under commercial conditions on various soil types ranging from grey clays, red loams to the lighter foothills of the Pyrenees Ranges, producing a sheep able to thrive in a variety of climates. We are producing a robust, good doing sheep that has the ability to grow a heavy cutting, bold crimping, richly nourished wools while maintaining an excellent carcase and highly fertile sheep, able to thrive in any environment and any seasonal conditions. |
